Where Healing Happens

We are the farmhouse by the bay – blue, with a barn perched atop the hillside and lavender
hills that roll to the shore. We hear the waves at night and dream good dreams about adventures
yet to unfold and secrets to explore. You see, the farm is filled with possibilities and plans. Ideas
live here, and some of them are wild.

Someday soon, travelers from near and far will come to the place we call Heatherley Hillside.
They’ll search for the fairies in gardens and cook delicious meals with family and friends. They’ll
relax in hammocks and sing fun songs around a fire ring. On the Hillside, once you look to get
away from it all, you end up finding what you lost all along. Whether it’s inspiration or
imagination or a memory that won’t easily fade, each person is different, and the land speaks to
them in different ways.

The magic of the place doesn’t stay. It grows and spreads, following guests with a bit of peace
whenever they think of things they’ve shared here. Sometimes the magic even gets stuck in your
head– it builds and builds like a swarm until notes turn into songs and words form into stories.
This is our true harvest, good works that spring from the land and nourish the soul.

 

As keepers of the farm and caretakers to all types of wonder, we understand this magic the most
when it seems to be gone. Sometimes our lives take turns down roads we do not want to go
down and our peace is interrupted with pain. We may not feel the magic but know that it is still
there, within the community and the help we share. This act of revival is our Heartsong. We know
it well.
